The Black Hills is a haven for outdoor adventures and rugged pursuits. The rock climbing in the Black Hills is truly world-class due to the diversity of the regional geology. Visitors seeking geocaching and orienteering opportunities will find the Black Hills to be unrivaled. Many options exist in the Black Hills for boating and swimming. Don’t miss a trip to Deadwood to challenge yourself against the one armed bandits and the multitude of gaming options.

Dakota Five-O
Spearfish—Ridge Riders of the Black Hills invites you to attend the 7th Dakota Five-O Mt Bike - Race, Ride Tour on August 31, 2008. Starting from the band shell at the Spearfish City Park riders will climb over 6,300 feet over the course of 50 scenic miles. The ride is supported, with tons of prizes, drinks and food. Also check out the Tinton Trail Time Trial Downhill Bike Race on June 21, 2008.

Festival of Presidents
