As the last bastion of the true West, Cody offers tourists spectacular vistas and, of course, two entrances into Yellowstone National Park. Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center
4808 Northfork Hwy—Located 6 miles west of Cody on the Yellowstone Hwy at Buffalo Bill Dam (just through the tunnels) Open annually approximately May 1st through September. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Reservoir provides irrigation and drinking water and is used for power generation as well as recreational activities.
