Old Idaho Penitentiary 2445 Old Penitentiary Rd—Over 13,000 prisoners did time at the Old Idaho Penitentiary between 1870 and 1973. This territorial prison grew from its original single cell house into a complex of buildings surrounded by high stone walls. Enjoy the tour of this National Registry Historical Site.
